Whenever one of my users prints any of our reports, the date is in dd/mm/yyyy format, when it should be in mm/dd/yyyy format. This might be more of a Windows settings issue rather than a CR7 issue, but it only seems to do this when a CR7 report is printed, anything else involving a date in any other software prints/displays correctly. I have checked the regional settings on their computer and they are all set properly. Uninstalling and reinstalling the CR7 runtime files didn't seem to help either.
Does anyone know if CR7 stores its own date formatting information? Thank you in advance.Use Field Formatting to set the format of the date. Else you can covert the date into a string also.
In case you need to pass date as a parameter, Crystal Reports allows you to pass the date in three pieces (Date, Month and Year).
Hope you will solve the problem.

Crystal Report displays wrong value.
Hi,
There is a issue in VB & Crystal report version is 8.5.
I have got a report which displays wrong values though the values returned from the database is correct. It displays all the numbers by dividing 100 to it. I am getting correct values in some of the machines but not in rest. For eg if the value returned from the database is 80 then the report displays the value as 0.8 in some of the machines which is wrong. How do I correct this wierd error? Is there any system based setting where in I could go and change? We have checked the following things and it seems to be correct (DSN settings, Reports Versions)
Crystal report version is 8.5. In users m/c, no crystal report is installed.
Please tell me are there any settings to be set in user machines.
Reply asap.
Regards

I have followed the above steps. But there is no Use System Default format option in step 2 that is in Customize section. You can see images attached for this. I think the version which u have worked is different. Here version is 8.5. Please tell me if you know anything.|||I have followed the above steps. Crystal Report Database Path question
VB 6 Enterprise Edition; Crystal Report XI Developer Edition
I don't understand, did I phrase my previous question wrong?
Let me restate it:
From a VB 6 application, how do you code to tell Crystal Reports where the database tables are located?
This is the code I use to get the report(s)
Set craxreport = craxapp.OpenReport(App.Path & "\" & ReportName)
craxreport.DiscardSavedData
CrystalActiveXReportViewer1.Refresh
CrystalActiveXReportViewer1.ReportSource = craxreport
CrystalActiveXReportViewer1.ViewReport
Set craxreport = Nothing
SamProblem Resolved:
Here is the code in case anyone needs it:
Dim dbTable As CRAXDDRT.DatabaseTable
Set dbTable = craxreport.Database.Tables(1)
craxreport.DiscardSavedData
dbTable.Location = App.Path & "\BOM.mdb"
CrystalActiveXReportViewer1.Refresh
Call CrystalActiveXReportViewer1_RefreshButtonClicked(True)
CrystalActiveXReportViewer1.ReportSource = craxreport
CrystalActiveXReportViewer1.ViewReport
Set craxreport = Nothing
