Crystal32.ocx Missing

When I try to load a VB project, I get the following message:
"Crystal32.ocx Missing"
How can I overcome this problem.

1. Make sure the Crystal Report Control was installed correctly.

eg. create new vb project add the crystal control, if it's working fine. do the following method

Use Method:

1. Open the project
2. Continue the project with errors
3. After project loaded add the crystal report control in the project (don't save now)
4. close the VB IDE main window [X].
5. This will prompt the changed files, unselect all the files except project .vbp & .vbw, now click yes to save.

open the project now.

Crystal Reports error

I have a C# project which contains a web form, which has a button calling a web page containing a crystalreportviewer, which contains a CrystalReport report; when I call this page through Response.Redirect("WebForm2.aspx"); WebForm2 is not opening, instead it is sending me an error: [Null]Reference Exception: Reference to object does not stated as object's instance.]
Somebody know what is reason of this error?

I reinstalled Visual Studio .NET.

Crystal reports 8 problem after running

hi,
i couldnt explain in title clearly.
the problem is i have used CR in project and when ever the project exe is run and open the reports then close everything including the report it gives runtime error .if i run the exe without opening CR it doesnt give error could there be any DLL problemWhat is the error you are getting?

Crystal Reports 10.0 compatibilty issues !

I have to upgrade the reports my project (VB 6.0 and MS-SQL 2000) from crystal reports 8.5 to crystal reports 10.0, but I checked that crystal reports 10.0 does not support OCX method.

I want to know

1) Will my existing VB 6.0 code support the new crystal reports 10.0 or will I have to make any significant changes in the code ?

2) Do I have to change the report files or will they work fine with crystal reports 10.0 ?

3) If I save my existing report in crytal report 10.0, then will I be able to open it again in crystal report 8.5 ?

OR can anyone suggest me a site where I can get answers to the above questionsHello !!!

I need some help with Crystal - I am new to the package and I'm battling with the VB integration

My current .vbp project has a form with the following code

Crystal Report SQL ?

Hi, I'm new doing crystal report so I do not get where the error is.. So please help me if possible..

This is a project handed down, I'm not the one coding the program..

I have run the SQL Statement at the SQL Query and IT WORKS !
Cause i need to add another condition to it and its added into the WHERE clause.

The report which contains 2 subreports uses the SQL statement.
When i run the VB application, no information is shown out like the SQL Query.. No information at all..!
All because after i added the extra line which works fine in query.

The same thing happen when i tried adding the SQL into the main report's query..

I have no idea what is wrong with it. Does it have something to do with the main report ? Because my colleague tried using the subreport as main and she said it works.. She suggest it has something to do with the main report..

FYI: I never change codes in the VB application because the retriving of information is based on the SQL of the Crystal Report.

*** the above is the original code.. but the only thing i added to this line of SQL is to the WHERE clause

Crystal Report Query Engine error

Hi,
My project is being done in Vb.Net 2003 and SQL Server2000. When I try to access the Crystal Report thru code only I get the query engine error. the Sql Query however works perfectly in Query Analyser.
The Query uses left outer join operation from 4 tables. Is there any way I can overcome my error?

Thanks;As far as I know, crystl32.ocx component was dropped starting from CR9. You will have to either redesign your application to use RDC, or distribute the old crystl32.ocx with your application. Crystl32.ocx will require CRPE32.DLL and CRPAIG80.DLL files to register and work properly.

I am able to take print report in this manner.

I serched the file 'Unicows.dll' in my system but it was not found. I could not find any files regarding crystal while I just installed the crystal report yesterday.

am I missing something?|||I just reinstall the crystal report11. but I am not getting how to add it in vb6.0. There is no any check box 'crystal report control' in the project's component dialog.

I'm new in C/Reports..I'm developint a project using Orale 8i, VB 6.0 and C/Reports 7.0..So my paltform is almost same with U..As you found the error"server has not yet been open" I also am facing an error and I could not come out of that my error is
-Error number 20599 "SQL Server can not open"
As I'm not using SQL Server, why this error is then...Someone has told me that I've to connect to report by coding, which I didn't do..Can You just help me as your prob is a bit similar to mine...[Moved thread]|||I've come across similar problems where I get a SQL server error and my report doesn't connect to the database itself (I connect to the database in VB and pass the report a recordset). forum is there a way to view and report mulpitle projects
the same time. i.e see all the resorces and all their
projects, see all costs assciated with all projects.
Basically I'm trying to view all projects together in one
report as opposed to viewing each project individually?
