Crystal Report Printing

I m using vb and crystal report. i m calling crystal report through vb i want to give a print selection option to user how can i do this ? pls help me its very very urgent for meCR.EnablePopupMenu = True
CR.EnablePrintButton = True

where CR is the Crystal Report viewer

Can anybody pls help me in finding a solution for doing DOS printing through crystal report !!

My problem is my report has to get printed on a dot matrix printer and on a contineous stationary. and printing in windows based form is strictly not allowed.

I tried exporting the report in text format and printing. But the problem here is all the data exported gets compressed too much i.e. the space in 2 columns gets reduced too much and sometimes some data also gets deleted.crystal report preview is totally fine. Also I want to use Different pitch settings in the same report. I have seen that the lines dont get exported in text file. so i am confused what to do and how to do

I think u can try storing printer fonts and drivers in ur reports.

thanks for sending the feedback. But i did that thing means, i tried printing using the printer fonts and it is printing really fast. But my problem is the headings are bold etc. that means i had to use escape sequence etc. and i dont now how to do it.

Exporting report really looses much of my data and formatting.

So please help

Crystal Report Datas Export to MS Access

Pls assist me....
I want to export the values from Crystal Report(8.0) to Ms Access. Pls me know if the procudes if itz possible..

eam007Export drop down box in the Crystal Reports show "Export to Ms Access Database", but once i click the option, it pops up the 'select database option'. Once the database is selected and click OK, te popup windows closes.
If I oen the database, i find no datas exported from crysal report...

crystal & SQL Server

I am new to Crystal reports and I wana use CrystalReports using SQL SERVER .
How can i create DSN with SQL Server ?

SamDisregard this if you think I have mistaken your question. I think you want to be able to get date from SQLServer database using CR. If so, here it goes, assuming you're using window XP:

1. Make sure you can connect to the SQL database. To check this, go to Control panel => Administrative Tools => Data source (ODBC) => check on either User DSN, System DSN or File DSN tab to see if your database show. If it doesn't, you can add new. I can't help you there because I don't know how you setup securities & stuff.

2. Once it shows, you can open up CR. Create new connection, go to ODBC sources, your SQL database name should show up here. If not, you did not configure / connect the SQL properly. Go back to step 1.

3. Select the database / tables that you need.

Cross Tab - percentage

Hi ,

Pls help me... I am in a fix !!!
I have created a cross tab report. The look likes this -

sales
2005 2006
ABC 10 12
XYZ 22 30
TTT 10 45

TOT 42 87

But my actual require is -

sales percentage
2005 2006 2005 2006

ABC 10 12 23.81 13.80
XYZ 22 30 52.38 34.48
TTT 10 45 23.81 51.72

TOT 42 87

I hope u understand it. The only additional requirement is the percentage. The percentage is calculated as -
2005 : if sales is 10 for ABC, then %age is 10/42*100
2006 : sales is 12 for ABC, then %age is 12/87*100Pls can someone assist me..
